The Gullah-Geechee food is a rich tapestry woven through history and traditions

The museum is celebrating its 7th Annual Food Festival, an annual cultural celebration of Gullah cuisine, displaying unique and vibrant traditions that has evolved over centuries and is deeply rooted in the Gullah-Geechee culture. The Gullah food is a testament to the resilience and creativity of a community that continues to preserve its heritage through its food and culinary traditions.

The 7th Annual Food Festival will be held on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Ticket prices are $10.00 (ages 16 and over), $5.00 (ages 5-16), children under 5 are free.
