Hillcats choose Gleaning as a Community Champions recipient

Friday, June 2nd: Gleaning For The World Fundraiser night at Hillcats Stadium

As part of the Hillcats Community Champions program, the team selects several local nonprofits to highlight at different home games throughout the season. Each selected nonprofit has is given the opportunity to be highlighted at one special game. The team also provides a good portion of their ticket sales to the nonprofits during their special night.

Join Gleaning For The World's staff and volunteers for a night of family friendly fun at the Hillcats ball game on Friday, June 2nd, beginning at 6:30pm. The stadium will be offering their "Dollar Dog Day," which means hot dogs at the stadium only cost one dollar! To support Gleaning For The world, there will be an opportunity to purchase 50/50 raffle tickets.

Additionally, Coca-Cola and the Hillcats have teamed up to give away "Coke Cooler Bags" to the first 500 fans who attend the game!

"We look forward to seeing our supporters at the Hillcats Stadium this Friday night. We appreciate the Hillcats choosing Gleaning For The World as one of their Community Champions this season. Their generosity, along with that of their fans, will help so many people in their time of need," Gleaning's president Jeane Smiley-Mason said.
