FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Houston, TX - Paper Brain Productions, Houston's prominent stop-motion paper animation production company, is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its first remote internship program. The program, which took place over the course of nine months, provided participants with the opportunity to work remotely with the Paper Brain Productions team on a one-minute animation for artist and musician Gregory Pepper.

The two participating interns, Anya Samukova and Wout Kruijer, were selected from a competitive pool of applicants and worked remotely with the Paper Brain Productions team to bring Gregory Pepper's vision to life. Despite the challenges of remote work, both interns were able to collaborate effectively with the team and complete the project with rave reviews.

"We were thrilled to have Anya and Wout join us for our first remote internship program," said Brandon Ray, co-founder and creative director of Paper Brain Productions. "Their talent and passion for illustration and animation were evident from the start."

The one-minute animation created by the interns will be featured in an upcoming project by Canadian musician/composer Gregory Pepper. The completed project showcases the interns' creative and technical skills in 2d frame-by-frame animation, and is a testament to the success of the remote internship program.
"We are so proud of the work that Anya and Wout have accomplished during their time with us," said Lisa Ray, co-founder and CEO of Paper Brain. "Their dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed, and we are excited to see where their careers in animation take them next."

With the success of the first remote internship program, Paper Brain Productions is pleased to announce that it will continue its internship program in 2023. As one of Houston's most prominent and established animation production companies, Paper Brain Productions has worked with networks such as HBO, Disney, and Amazon, and is committed to supporting the next generation of animators.

"We are excited to continue our internship program and provide more opportunities for aspiring animators to learn and grow with us," said Brandon Ray. "We are committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that prepares young animators for the challenges of earning a living from their craft, and we look forward to seeing the talent and potential of future interns."
