Mad Wife Productions is launching a new TV writer contest. The winner will be hired to write the pilot episode of a new half-hour TV show called Memory Lane that goes to production in May, 2021.

All work will be done virtually so writers all around the world can apply.

Mad Wife Productions is dedicated in getting undiscovered screenwriters produced. In 2020, Mad Wife Productions got 7 unproduced writers produced and is hoping to continue the same trend in 2021.

Mad Wife Productions is now looking for the next big TV writer through a 2-week contest. The winner will work with the producer and creator of the show to write the screenplay from an outline to first draft during the month of March.

Memory Lane is a half-hour dramedy that centers around Joanna Lane, a director of a retirement community, as well as the residents and employees as they live their daily lives in a community that is anything but retired.

Justine Reyes from Tru Talent Agency is the casting agent for the show.

The contest will run from Feb 9 to Feb 22. Only 200 entries will be accepted.

The winner will be announced on Feb 28 and the writer is committing to working on the script throughout the month of March.
