All profits go to global charities in Starmetal’s latest mobile game.

Charity Truck just arrived on the Google Play Store, and offers the opportunity for players to enjoy a casual clicker game, while at the same time helping those in need. The game is completely free, and features players recruiting characters to help them load supplies into donation trucks. Any profits from boosts or skins purchased in the game will go to global charities. This gives players the opportunity to simulate running a charity, while also helping people in the real world.

“My goal with Charity Truck is to bring a fun game to the world that emphasizes giving. Sometimes when I feel helpless in a situation, I’ve found that the best cure is finding ways to help people who have it much worse than I do. I appreciate that many games will periodically have special promotions that benefit certain causes, but I wanted to make a game where benefiting people was the entire premise of the game, from the finances to the gameplay itself.” - Justin Gentile, Lead Developer at Starmetal LLC

In Charity Truck, you choose from a variety of missions that involve giving items to random groups in need, and then toss those items into the donation truck. Ten bottles of water to a local orphanage? You’ve got this. Forty thousand cans of food to a local food bank? That’s going to be a lot of work! Thankfully you don’t have to do it alone. Completing missions gives you karma, which can be used to recruit helpers. These generous folks will even help you load the donation truck while the app is closed, which is good because these missions can get big quickly. You can see how your donations stack up against the rest of the world on the leaderboard, and then you can actually donate in the real-world by purchasing boosts, upgrades, or skins for the truck and environment. If anyone’s ever wanted to throw sparkling bottles of hand sanitizer at an ice cream truck on Mars in order to help people, Charity Truck is finally here for you.

Charity Truck brings a new take on fun and generosity for free on Android.
