Web development on ASP.NET was always hard, and without proper tools developers ran browser based tests, which are slow, and don’t provide proper coverage. The Ivonna add-on to Isolator makes writing tests for web applications even easier. Ivonna simulates the web server and allows testing ASP.NET code-behind, without the need for a complex setup. Now Ivonna adds its capabilities to aid writing tests for ASP.NET MVC. Although ASP.NET MVC was written with unit testing in mind, it is still a difficult task and there are still areas where tools like Isolator and Ivonna fill in a much needed gap.
