Press release from: ControlGuard

Bridgewater, N.J., November 28, 2006 -- ControlGuard, a leading provider of endpoint security, today announced that Capgemini, one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, will offer ControlGuard Endpoint Access Manager as part of its portfolio in Italy. Capgemini will also provide managed services for the endpoint access management solutions to prevent data leakage and support regulatory requirements.

“Our large enterprise customers in Italy are very savvy when it comes to IT security,” said Andrea Cecchetti, security solution manager, Capgemini Italy. “ControlGuard provides an excellent endpoint security solution that protects against some of today’s biggest IT threats. We expect that our customers will embrace the technology quickly as risk stemming from portable devices is rapidly increasing. Additionally, with the introduction of new regulations such as Basel II, SOX and HIPAA we expect ControlGuard’s software that offers auditing and reporting functions will drive new growth in this area.”

Under the agreement, Capgemini will receive technical training and support for Endpoint Access Manager. Capgemini will install ControlGuard's solution in its Demo rooms in Italy and represent this product as part of its Information Leakage Prevention (ILP) solution. Managed services will also be offered to customers that prefer the endpoint security solution to be managed remotely by Capgemini’s resources. ControlGuard will be responsible for the sale of the license.

“Endpoint Access Manager has proven its security and compliance value in many large companies around the world and is an excellent fit for Capgemini’s target customers in Europe,” said Eli Hizkiyev GM of International Sales, ControlGuard. “As a leading global organization, Capgemini is an excellent partner to accelerate the adoption of our products in Italy and other European countries.”

ControlGuard Endpoint Access Manager is an enterprise-grade solution for controlling, monitoring and logging how data is downloaded and uploaded to the endpoints, in order to prevent data leakage from PCs and laptops.

By implementing policy-based control of endpoint access to portable storage and USB devices, ControlGuard’s solution effectively prevents unauthorized use of enterprise data and enforces endpoint security policies, which comply with international regulatory requirements, such as Basel II, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), California SB1386, and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
