Press release from: ATEQ

Cobra Systems General Manager, Krystle Abbott

Cobra Systems General Manager, Krystle Abbott

ATEQ Aviation, along with Cobra Systems, is pleased to announce the addition of a new Office Manager, Krystle Abbott. Cobra Systems, located just outside of Chicago, Illinois, welcomed Abbott to the team in early August. She will be responsible for the overall operations of Cobra Systems. Everything from property management, administration and IT to accounting, purchasing, and human resources.

Abbott has an extensive background in the healthcare industry. She started out working with the State of Illinois Medicaid and, being savvy in technology, worked her way into the HIT (Health Information Technology) and EMRs (Electronic Medical Records) world. She has experience in handling everything from insurance claims and medical billing to human resources and accounting. After eleven years in the healthcare industry, the Schaumburg, Illinois native took her degrees from Harper College for Accounting and Seattle School of Law to the manufacturing industry. Working with Micro-Electronics taught her the ins and outs of circuit board manufacturing and repairs, along with ISO and Aerospace industry standards, which guided her path to Cobra Systems this year.

“I grew up in an aviation family. Since my dad was an engineer at Northwest Airlines I was able to be in and out of planes throughout my childhood. I look forward to taking my skills and experiences into an industry that shaped and supported my family,” said Abbott.

When she’s not at work, Abbott enjoys spending time with her daughter, Kylee (8) and son, Hunter (5). Some of her various hobbies include interior design, cooking, fishing, reading, and anything Sci-Fi related.

“Combining Krystle’s wide set of business knowledge with her passion to learn will make her a valuable asset to the ATEQ-Cobra team,” said Patrick Brousseau, North American Sales Manager.

ATEQ Aviation is a worldwide aviation test equipment manufacturer of automated pitot-static testers & adapters, bonding/loop resistance testers, battery charger/analyzers and leak detectors for aircraft manufacturing and maintenance. Cobra Systems is the leading American manufacturer of Pitot Static Test Adapters.
