FL Technics starts part out of 7 newly obtained Boeing 737-300

FL Technics, a rapidly growing integrated aircraft maintenance and repair organization, has purchased 7 Boeing 737-300 aircraft for tear down into parts and components. The disassembled aircraft components will be used to form and maintain a wider stock of B737 CL spare parts and components as well as to expand FL Technics warehouse portfolio capabilities.

FL Technics‘ decision to acquire Boeing 737-300 from the global low cost airline Air Asia was determined not only by the rapidly increasing demand for parts and components of this particular type of aircraft in Central and Eastern Europe as well as the CIS markets, but also by the objective to sustain an extensive B737 CL spare parts‘ assortment in the remaining European regions. The acquired aircraft will be dissembled locally in Malaysia.

“This acquisition is part of a broader investment program at FL Technics, which will expose to our company for future growth and will strengthen our position in the highly competitive spare parts market. It will broaden our spare parts inventories, as well as enables us to provide full technical support without geographical restrictions.”- explained Jonas Butautis, the CEO of FL Technics. “This latest purchase is yet another measure that allows us to promptly serve our current and potential clients by offering them the highest quality services and the most cost efficient solutions”, -added the CEO.

According to J. Butautis, while rapidly increasing FL Technics technical support capabilities, the company is considering the possibility to expand its activity into the Asian markets. “This acquisition of B737 CL is only the first step in the process of entering the Asian and the Middle East markets.”, - commented J.Butautis.

In order to ensure a smooth development of the spare parts warehouse and exceptionally fast quality services for its clients, last year FL Technics already purchased a number of Boeing 737s, whereas the first A320 was acquired earlier this year. In the nearest future the company is planning to acquire more aircraft of the similar type for dismantlement.

Last year FL Technics also implemented a 24/7 AOG (Aircraft on the Ground) Line enabling its users to receive full engineering problem solutions and fast spare parts supply.

FL Technics is the largest aircraft Maintenance and Repair Organisation (MRO) in the Baltic States, as well as one of the largest MRO companies in Eastern Europe and CIS countries.
