ASA ACTION SPORTS WORLD TOUR BRINGS RAMP JAM TO BUSCH GARDENS

World-renowned Pros Bucky Lasek, Simon Tabron and Kevin Robinson will be featured at Williamsburg, VA park three weekends in May

LOS ANGELES (April 9, 2010) -- This spring, stars from the ASA Action Sports World Tour (ASA ASWT) will thrill fans with their own special brand of excitement when Ramp Jam, produced by ASA Entertainment, opens at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, VA on May 8. Performances by the action sports industry’s elite skateboarders, BMX riders and inline skaters will be featured on three weekends – May 8 & 9, May 15 & 16 and May 22 & 23 – along with a lineup of local concerts between shows, interactive booths and activities to entertain the young, hip, thrill-seeking fan.

Six-time X Games gold medalist and ESPY Awards nominee, Bucky Lasek (Baltimore, Maryland) will headline the shows on May 8 & 9, while BMX world champion and 3-time X Games gold medalist, Simon Tabron (Liverpool, England), will star during the last weekend, May 22 & 23. Kevin Robinson (East Providence, Rhode Island), the BMX High-Air world record holder and 4-time X Games Gold medalist will be highlighted all three weekends.

Joining these elite athletes will be other ASA ASWT stars to include skateboarding champion Danny Mayer (Omaha, Nebraska) and young gun Adam Taylor (Cocoa Beach, Florida); BMX high-flyer John Parker (Paso Robles, California); and inline skating specialists Marc Englehart (Lansdale, Pennsylvania), Marco Desanti (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Thumper Nagasako (Maui, Hawaii). These men will perform multiple shows daily on the 14-foot-tall half-pipe designed especially for Ramp Jam. All shows are included in the price of admission to the park each weekend.
